Anyone who is registered to vote can apply to vote by post. You don’t need to give a reason.

You can apply for a postal vote for one election, a set period of time or permanently. Postal votes are sent out on average 10 days before polling day.

The deadline to apply to vote by post in the elections to be held on 6th May 2021 is: 5pm on Tuesday 20th April 2021.
